The Downeys have been serving the Twin Cities western suburbs, with an emphases on the Lake Minnetonka area, since 1979. Chuck and Betty were one of the very first real estate teams that sold real estate together. Chuck went on to become one of the top agents at Coldwell Banker Burnet as Betty then taught real estate classes and was one of the managers at the Coldwell Banker Wayzata Office. Today the business continues to flourish in the hands of the Downey daughters, Kelle Bowe and Kate Kelley. Having been lifelong residents of the Lake Minnetonka area, Kelle and Kate are extremely knowledgeable about the communities surrounding the lake. The Downeys also have a vast knowledge of the new construction process through their involvement of the development/sales of the Jennings Cove, Langdon Trails and Saunders Lake North & South neighborhoods.
